The world’s first modular small-scale GTL facility has recently passed an extensive qualification test programme by Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras). According to CompactGTL, the company behind the plant, the approval of the plant’s performance by Petrobras is a ‘significant milestone’ as it continues to undertake project studies for commercial scale modular gas-to-liquids technology.
